Designed for Terzani by renowned British designer Nigel Coates, Angel Falls is a striking suspension light that captures imagination through its theatrical and sculptural form. Known for his unconventional and expressive approach to design, Coates created a luminaire where clusters of handcrafted crystal “angels” appear suspended mid-fall, illuminated by either halogen or integrated LED light sources. The dramatic composition invites interpretation — what caused these angels to fall from the heavens is left entirely to the viewer’s imagination.
Each crystal figure is individually handmade in Italy, creating a captivating play of light, reflection and movement. Whether installed in residential interiors, hospitality spaces or large-scale commercial projects, Angel Falls becomes an instant focal point designed to provoke conversation and admiration alike.
The Terzani design team also offers bespoke Angel Falls configurations tailored to individual projects. Customisation options include variable suspension wire lengths and fully customised cluster arrangements, allowing designers and architects to create dramatic installations perfectly suited to the scale and character of their space.
