A series of lights inspired by the electric isolators of the early 20th century could only be named Battersea — a tribute to the iconic Battersea Power Station, made famous around the world by Pink Floyd’s Animals album cover.

Removed from their original industrial context, these isolators become sculptural objects — evocative of the past, yet remarkably futuristic in their simplicity.

Exceptional attention to detail brings the story to life, including graphic markings inspired by the series numbers and manufacturer names found on the original isolators.

Even the colour has been carefully considered. “Oyster”, a warm off-white, was developed to recreate the distinctive character of the originals.
